The collection draws its inspiration from the suggestions of a legend: the design experimentation and creative spirit
of Chicago in the 1930s, acknowledged by cinema and in literature. Resarch into materials and coordinations that
reproduces an elegance found in the historical fashion archives of those times, but with a modern take. A journey
through the places of a timeless legend that passes through the different themes.
GREEN MILL Informal but sophisticated, like the famous club where legendary jazz players performed. Nuances of
mélange grey, from anthracite to black, with contrasting cuts in camel and burgundy. A sartorial world with classic
garments, long double-breasted coats, pinstripes that bring to mind the time in which Al Capone was a regular at
the Green Mill.
RIVER WALK This is the name of the walkway along the Chicago river. An angle of nature in the heart of the windy
city, so-called for the strong currents of air that sweep through it. This inspires garments designed for outdoor and
casual use: huskies and padded fabrics in mélange wool, garments with removable quilted interiors. Natural autumn
colours, from brown to military dark green, always cut with sophisticate mélange dark grey and clear moulines with
blending patterns.
BLUE CHICAGO Chicago, the cradle of a new kind of music that gave voice to melancholy, a city suspended
between past and present, like a winter sunset, but always ready to wake up and enjoy the night. This atmosphere
inspired a sophisticated and romantic theme that gives the collection a touch of retro elegance restyled in a modern
key. Fine pinstripes and dark fabrics alternate with the lighter shades of blue and sky blue and with cuts in shades of
ivory and light greys with a natural flame that illuminate their suggestive features. Cosy wools and cashmeres with
carded flannels elegantly warm the pinstripes or micropatterns.
LAKE PLACID The line that pays tribute to the Olympic event of that era with a highly distinctive total look: restyled
garments in treated technical fabrics, with exclusive membranes or padded. Colours are decisive and bright, like
BLUE, BROWN and GREY, always accompanied by ivory white or natural. The theme is completed by knits with
large cables, sneakers with classic wool fabric inserts and polos with patches applied.
SILHOUETTE The silhouette of the collection has soft shoulders and a slightly lower waistline for the jackets which,
in the more extreme versions, have a length of 73/74 cm, while the more classic models are 75 cm. Trousers are
re-proportioned to the jacket, and therefore with lower waist, slimmer thigh and bottom measuring 19 cm.
MATERIALS Wools are ever-present, also with washed appearances and handles, worked with mélange and mouline
for a clean and 3D effect. New wool/alpaca stretch seersucker for updated blazers. The patterns of suits and
jackets, such as blended Prince of Wales checks or well-defined pinstripes, are inspired by suggestions and ideas
from the archives.
PRODUCTS Suits and jackets are distinguished by details inspired by tie patterns, while deconstructed coats play
with reversible materials in cashmere and nylon. Ties are made of silk jacquard with embroidered effect WS inspired
patterns or have prints with 1930s patterns in wool, with matching pocket handkerchief. Shirts offer elegant combinations
in several different materials that highlight the lines of the garment. Knits have compositions in super yak,
mouline wools for warm cardigans or two-tone effects with retro macro jacquard patterns. And finally, sportswear,
with a quilted field jacket in coated cotton fabric.
